Is it just me, or does is seem like everyone is making light of the situation reguarding Britney Spear’s kid sister, Jamie Lynn’s pregnancy. I understand that things like this sometimes happen, but comon. There is various posting’s on her plans to raise her baby in Louisiana, and possibilities of marriage to the father, Casey Aldridge. I have yet to see broadcasts telling teen’s that it is NOT the best idea to be having babies at that stage in life.
Jamie Lynn is an actress, her sister is/was a great pop-star, so of course there is alot of money in the family. This makes it easier on her, because she has the money to raise a kid, or to hire a caretaker!

Most 16 year olds however, are finishing high-school, with a min. wage job or even no job at all. The average teen parent ends up dropping out of school and struggling through life with endless financial issues.

I’m not saying that she is a bad person, I just think that if they are going to publicize her pregnancy, they should also publicize the facts behind teen pregnancy and not try to glorify the situation.
