This broad is getting her hands into everything, reality television, fashion designing, and now writing. The Hills star Lauren Conrad has signed a deal to write a three book series for HarperCollins in the genre of young adult fiction. The release of these pointless books is set for summer of 2009 and will be semi based on Lauren’s personal life experience of transitioning from an ordinary teen to a reality Television star. Lauren states to People mag:

“It’s definitely influenced by my own life,” Conrad told People magazine. “The books are about a girl who moves to L.A. and stars in a reality show, so obviously there are some similarities.”
“I’m not trying to do a fictional story based on all my friends in my real life because their stories aren’t really mine to tell,” Conrad explains to the magazine. “Some of the characters may symbolize people in my life, but it is in no way calling anyone out.”

Congrats to her; but I definitely don’t give a shit.
