Oprah’s Mom, Vernita Lee, is now countersuing Valentina Clothing store for the incident in which she failed to pay her bill.

She cites that she told store officials that she doesn’t think she owes the money. Lee declined to comment on the lawsuit.

So basically she knows she owes the money but can’t afford to pay the bill most likely due to Oprah cutting her off from her cash flow, now she is just simply trying to buy time to beg her daughter some more. Hey it’s a thought.
